While we do not always have positions open, we are always accepting applications from hardworking, reliable and detail-oriented performers! Please read the requirements below. Like any new company, we are doing our best to build a strong client base but we cannot guarantee how often our performers will work. Thank you for your patience as we grow.
At least 16 Years Old (With Parental Consent)
For performers younger than 18, we require a parent/guardian to co-sign upon hiring. Performers 18 years old and older are able to sign for themselves upon hiring. We do not hire performers younger than 16 years old, no exceptions.
Licensed Driver or Reliable Transportation
CRC services all of Rhode Island and many parts of Massachusetts and Connecticut, so performers should be able and willing to travel to these areas to perform. When possible, we will arrange for carpooling between performers.
COVID-19 Policy and Protocol
While we are still working our way through a global pandemic, performers must be willing to follow our COVID-19 policy, which would be discussed upon hiring.
Must Be Able to Pass a Background Check
We may require applicants to pass a criminal background check because we believe that it is our responsibility to ensure the safety of the children we perform for, and for their families. This also allows our performers to feel safe when working and performing with others. We send trained assistants to every event to further ensure safety.
Confident Singer, Dance Experience Preferred
At every event CRC attends, our performers sing along with an instrumental track of the character’s most popular songs. Performers MUST be confident singing solo, and must be able to learn scripts and choreography as well.
Must Fit Into Existing Costumes
At CRC, we believe that every body is beautiful, and build our costumes and wigs to be adjustable, allowing for many different body shapes and sizes to wear them. However at this time, we are not able to have multiple costumes, so performers must be able to fit into existing costumes. We are happy to make alterations accordingly to ensure a flattering and comfortable fit.
Weekend Availability
Most of our events take place on weekends and school vacation weeks. We are happy to fit our bookings into your existing schedule, as we understand that many performers have jobs and/or hobbies outside of performing with CRC.

These aspects are some of the most important values to CRC. We need performers who we can count on to be prepared, learning all of the given material in a timely manner, kind to CRC staff as well as clients, responsible with costumes, wigs, and props, and passionate about charity work for good causes as well as performing in general. To us, this is much more than a hobby and we are looking for individuals who share this sentiment.
